I've ask Chris Micalak about it and he just said that it's my preferences that are not properly ajusted to the time zone. I went and modified my configs but it doesn't work. Both the Wiki & Message board are off by an hour. [[User:Champagne|Champagne]] 12:57, 10 January 2007 (MST)\n\n::I think the server time is actually correct. I have my time zone set for Pacific time and the time that I see on the \"recent changes\" page is the correct local time. However, note that when you guys posted your messages above, the time was stamped using MST (Mountain Standard Time) which is one hour different from PST (Pacific Standard Time). Perhaps some part of the server thinks it's still on daylight savings. I don't know what time zone this post is going to be stamped with, so here it goes . . . Looks like you can now give it a KML file from Google Earth as input if you want to do work in Google Earth.\n\n===google maps import kml file===\nYou can now upload a kml file to the wiki (as an image) and then use it to display a google maps. The only caveat is that it has to link to the actual file (rather than the wiki page that controls the .kml file revison). So I think if someone uploads a new revision of the kml file the map will not update itself automatically. You have to go figure out what the new path/name of the file is and edit the code used to generate the google map. Unless by default the new revision uses the same filename/path and it's the old revision that changes names/paths? I don't know. Easy to test...\n\nNote that google maps has a feature to then allow someone to click and download the original kml file used to generate the map. This in turn will launch google earth on the client computer with the contents of the kml file displayed. However this button doesn't appear to exist. It's probably a small tweak to get it to show up... I'll look into it.\n\n\n<googlemap version=\"0.9\" lat=\"49.258843\" lon=\"-123.166351\" type=\"terrain\" controls=\"small\">\nhttp://www.ubc-voc.com/wiki/images/9/91/Mytest.kml\n</googlemap>\n\n===google maps kml export===\nApparently the following code will allow you to download kml files to generate all the maps on this page (or something like that):\n\n<googlemapkml>Download KML</googlemapkml>\n\n\nwell that didn't work so well...\n\n\n13\n===MAP (by Chris M.===\nRed Heather Shelter interactive map:\nlat=49.762690803602695, long =-123.03809371881576\n<bcmap>lat=49.762470|long=123.03780|scale=200|width=3|height=4|interactive=1|markerlong=123.03809371881576|markerlat=49.762690803602695</bcmap>\n\nHollyburn\nlat=49.400555,long = -123.183060\n<bcmap>lat=49.400555|long=123.183060|scale=200|width=3|height=4|interactive=1|markerlong=49.400555|markerlong=-123.183060|markerlat=49.400555</bcmap>\n\ntest after server move\n\n=== Wiki Update ===\n\nTesting update to version 1.18.1\n\n=== Time Templates ===\n\n2025 December 29<br>\n2025 December 15<br>\n2025 November 15<br>\n2025 November 15-30\n\n{| class=\"wikitable\"\n!style=\"width:200px; text-align:left\"|Trip Start Date \n!style=\"width:200px; text-align:left\"|Registration Status\n!style=\"width:200px; text-align:left\"|Opening Date\n|-\n|<span style=\"color:green\">2025 November 15-30</span>\n| colspan=\"2\" |<span style=\"color:green\">OPEN</span>\n|-\n|<span style=\"color:green\">2025 December 1-15</span>\n| colspan=\"2\" |<span style=\"color:green\">OPEN</span>\n|-\n|<span style=\"color:green\">2025 December 15-31</span>\n| colspan=\"2\" |<span style=\"color:green\">OPEN</span>\n|-\n|<span style=\"color:crimson\">2026 January 1-15</span>\n|<span style=\"color:crimson\">CLOSED</span>\n|2025 December 1\n|-\n|<span style=\"color:crimson\">2026 January 1-15</span>\n|<span style=\"color:crimson\">CLOSED</span>\n|2025 December 15\n|}"
