Access

Take the left fork at the Alice Lake Park entrance, then right (south) at the turnoff just below the park headquarters. Cross under power lines and follow all left forks to about 1200m. From here take the right hand (south) spur for about 0.5km then take the left fork up onto the ridge.

Route

The trail heads northeast along the ridge towards Little Diamond Head. The route is partly flagged, but the ridge is sufficiently narrow that the route is obvious.
