Synopsis

The VOC will have a booth at the Main Event Carnival on Imagine Day, and we need volunteers to help out. Come out to advertise the VOC and encourage people to join, or help us set up or clean up our booth.

This year, the event is open to first year, returning, and transfer students, as well as faculty and staff. It will be our opportunity to connect to a great number of people on UBC campus. Volunteering for this event will also count as a workhike.

Date

Tuesday, September 8^th, 2009 2-5pm

Location

Along Main Mall of UBC Vancouver campus. We will be given the specific booth location when we check-in. Check-in location: "Ask Me Tent" on the median in front of the Earth & Ocean Sciences Building, on Main Mall near University Blvd.

Volunteer Hours

Booth: We need volunteers to be at our booth to answer questions about the Club, plus maybe a couple of people to lead guided trips down to our Clubroom to sign people up. Preferably three members in each time slot, with at least one exec.
Clubroom: We need someone to be in the clubroom to collect membership forms and fees. Please sign-in on the wiki to put your name down for a time slot below. Thank you for helping out!
