Elk Mountain Region Fraser Valley-Manning

Looking back at Elk Mountain from the trail to Mount Thurston
Elevation 1432 m (4698 ft)
Coordinates
Quick Info Elk Mountain is the western end of the ridge dividing the Chilliwack valley from the Fraser Valley. This "peak" is really just the high point of a ridge leading to Thurston, after which the trail drops only 42m before continuing on another 2 km to Thurston. However Elk is quite often a final destination for most parties, and has fantastic views to the south, across the Chilliwack valley.
