Mount Rohr Region Duffy

North-west aspect of Rohr
Elevation 2423 m (7949 ft)
Coordinates
Quick Info Mount Rohr is located in the Marriott Basin with some very good powder when in season. If you want to sleep in warmth, comfort and style, and carry less, the Wendy Thompson Hut is nearby but does require a fee. Contact the Alpine Club of Canada regarding the use and a key.

Rohr is usually done as a daytrip from the Duffey Lake road year round. In winter, good visibility and stability are needed to make the most of the excellent alpine skiing on the north side of the peak.

Avalanche Hazard
The route and terrain described here is capable of producing avalanches. Safe travel requires the skills and equipment to assess and mitigate avalanche hazards. A professionally taught training course is highly recommended.
