About the suggestion to move winter longhike to Falls Lake
We (scott, sandra, chris) skied Zoa last weekend from Falls Lake and there were tons of snowmobilers running up and down the various pipeline roads and right of ways. I don't know if any of them actually went all the way to falls lake though. Most seemed to be going north to coldwater river.
