These 2-hour sessions are designed to introduce complete beginners to belaying, tying basic knots and using climbing gear safely. After completing a lesson, you should be able to pass a belay test and climb with a partner at the Norm or in any other climbing gym in Vancouver.

You'll need to bring at least a harness and hopefully rock shoes, locking carabiner and belay device. You can get the first two items from the club gear room (check gear hours).
