Take the new Callaghan Valley Road towards Whistler Olympic Park.  1.7km past the big bridge over Callaghan Creek is a plowed pullout on the left side of the road. This is the Alexander Falls parking lot and viewpoint. Overnight parking is permitted here  There is only room for a few vehicles. The XC ticket booth is located less than half a kilometer up the road. Drive to the ticket booth, purchase tickets then do a U turn to return to the Alexander Falls parking lot.  Walk back up Callaghan Valley road 300m to the hairpin turn and cross the bridge over Madeley Creek to reach the XC ski trails.  Another small area is plowed out near the bridge; do not park here as this area is used by snowplows to turn around.  You will likely be towed.

As of March 2022, backcountry users on the Callaghan Country XC trail system must purchase a full price XC trail pass ($29.50).
Tickets can be purchased online or at the ticket booth.
Outside of the Christmas holidays, Callaghan Country is open 5 days per week, Friday - Tuesday.
The trails are not groomed on Wednesdays or Thursdays.
There is also a one way [https://www.callaghancountry.com/snowcat-shuttle.html snowcat shuttle service] to Callaghan Lake on Saturday morning.
 
Day use parking to Callaghan Valley area is only open when the gates are open which seems to be at 8am.
