Introduction
Kelsey Miller - Trip Organizer
Date
Updated: Saturday, January 7, 2017
We're meeting at Mount Seymour at Guest Services (the upper parking lot) at 8:00am. We have been advised by Mt. Seymour staff that this Saturday will be very busy, so to avoid unnecessary parking faff, etc. we will be there bright and early.
Pretrip Meeting will be held on Weds, January 4, 2017 at 6pm @ BUCH A102.
Location
Mt Seymour
Costs
Please Note: You must pay in advance either at Gear Hours or the Pretrip meeting, at the very latest.
- Free for instructors
- $55 for Students
- Transit cost - You will either pay your driver for gas, or $6 for the shuttle bus if you don't have a ride.
- You may have to rent skis, boots, poles if you don't already own them. This can be done during Gear Hours the week prior to Tele School, or at MEC. If renting from MEC, be sure to call a few weeks ahead to reserve them.
Gear
You will need functional telemark skis, ski poles, and ski boots. Gear is available to rent from the club room, or from Mountain Equipment Co-op.
- Call MEC well in advance to reserve gear.
Dry School
None! You must attend the Pretrip meeting though. There we will meet instructors, go over the agenda for the day and organize rides.
