The hourly rate on the Bell 214B Heavy Lift is $4119.50 with fuel and tax.  The flight time from Squamish to Roe Creek and back is .4 of an hour.  The flight time from Roe Creek to Mt. Brew and back to Roe Creek is .3 of an hour.  The wieght of 11000 lbs. should be pre-rigged and split into three loads.  Fuel might be needed on site at Roe Creek, and we have a fuel truck for that for an additional cost.  So .3 times three is .9,  plus a .4 for the ferry back and forth to Squamsih , for a total of 1.2 which equals $4943.40 not including the fuel truck.    Cheers.

Helicopter Info

Helifor Industries will be doing some helilogging for Terminal Forest Products in the fall (september). They can probably move all the materials in 2 loads, and each trip is estimated to be about 15 minutes. The going rate for this helicopter is about $5000/hr, so that makes $2500 plus ferry costs. They can provide us with slings at no charge. In May, they will be logging South Creek, which is about a 10 minute flight over the pemberton icefield from Brew.
