: Does anyone remember the earliest the lake has been reported to have been frozen? If it helps, it was not frozen on the January 13/14 weekend 2007. If you are really bold and decide to try anyway, you can climb a hill near the Battleship Islands and try to see if it is frozen all the way across. Party of 5 heading to Roland Hut for New Years, 2008 (Dec. 30 - Jan 1). Comments? Questions?
