Access
The route begins at the top of either Harmony or Symphony lifts in the Whistler Ski area.
Route
Climb up over the north flank of Whistler Mountain and then down and southwards to Piccolo. Follow the ridge southeast over Flute and Oboe to Singing Pass. Climb southeast to a minor col west of Russet Lake. The cabin (Himmelsbach Hut) is located at the north end of the lake.
Hazards
- Avalanche hazard on all open slopes
- Route finding problems if the ridge is whited-out.
