Whistler Olympic Park is one of two the cross country areas in the Callaghan Valley. It hosted the Winter Olympics in February 2010. The backcountry access trails begin from the Biathlon Range Parking Lot, which is about 1km past the main Day Lodge. Backcountry skiers are required to check in at the Day Lodge and to pick up a free backcountry access pass. If using the groomed XC trail, backcountry skiers must purchase a discounted trail ticket.
