The Wendy Thompson hut is run by the ACC Whistler section and is located in Marriott Basin on the north side of Duffey Lake Road. There is a fee and reservation system in place. The hut officially sleeps 16.
Fees
- $10/night for ACC whistler members
- $12/night for non-members
Reservations can be made by calling (604) 902-1772.
Facilities
The hut is equipped with :
- Kerosene heater
- Coleman lamps
- Coleman stove
The above equipment is usually locked away in a closet. Upon making a reservation you will be supplied with the lock combination.
Skiing

| The route and terrain described here is capable of producing avalanches. Safe travel requires the skills and equipment to assess and mitigate avalanche hazards. A professionally taught training course is highly recommended. |
The area includes many good skiing bowls. There are some gentle slopes near the hut which makes it a good area for beginners.
Access
The hut is just over 5km from the road and usually takes 2-3 hours to reach in summer or winter.
