Revision as of 02:16, 22 November 2007

This page is here so you can try your hand at editing a wiki page. Click on edit help to get some background. Here are a few example of things :

This is a major title

A smaller one

a little change

Still smaller

You can link to other pages, for example here is another Sandbox2, also we could simply call it Sandbox even though it is actually Sandbox2... Make a link to anything you think something should be written about in the Wiki, even if that page doesn't exist yet. Someone (maybe you?) can write the page later on. It will appear as a red link to indicate it doesn't exist yet.

You can make a list of things :

  • one item
  • another

Lots more things to try, just have a look at the help page, or just try something out.

Add your own stuff below this line : (signature follows!) Cmich 18:35, 6 Mar 2004 (EST)

A numbered list:

  1. 'single quotes show up as quotes
  2. double quotes show up as italics
  3. tripple quotes are bold

Note that you can upload pictures (or other files). You just need to explore a bit! Cmich 18:35, 6 Mar 2004 (EST)

I suspect the server clock is wrong. Let's see... Matthew 11:21, 10 January 2007 (MST) OK, well that's out by exactly an hour (time zone config problem), 10.20am here now, so maybe it's just the forum.

I've noticed the same thing a few months ago. I've ask Chris Micalak about it and he just said that it's my preferences that are not properly ajusted to the time zone. I went and modified my configs but it doesn't work. Both the Wiki & Message board are off by an hour. Champagne 12:57, 10 January 2007 (MST)
I think the server time is actually correct. I have my time zone set for Pacific time and the time that I see on the "recent changes" page is the correct local time. However, note that when you guys posted your messages above, the time was stamped using MST (Mountain Standard Time) which is one hour different from PST (Pacific Standard Time). Perhaps some part of the server thinks it's still on daylight savings. I don't know what time zone this post is going to be stamped with, so here it goes . . . Other Scott's test Scott Webster 13:42, 10 January 2007 (MST)

My above test has a correct time stamp. Unfortunately it is in MST, which isn't what time zone I am in, but the time is correct. Now I check my prefs.

The problem seems to be that the server changes the four tildes into an MST time, and your wiki prefs don't change it to your time zone...

Ok, fixed the time zone, seeeeeeeeeee: Chris Michalak 16:12, 10 January 2007 (PST)
