Intro

"Leave No Trace Canada is a national non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and inspiring responsible outdoor recreation through education, research and partnerships. Leave No Trace builds awareness, appreciation and respect for our wildlands." <http://www.leavenotrace.ca/about/index.html>

One Wednesday night per month, instead of running a slideshow we will be hosting a Leave No Trace seminar that will focus on LNT practices for specific sports, areas, environments, or ethical controversies. The seminars will be held in the VOC Clubroom from 7-9pm led by me (Jacob Slosberg) with beers and more conversation at the gallery after.

Leave No Trace Trainer Course

During the spring we will run an official LNT Trainer Course to certify interested members in teaching LNT principles. This will be a weekend backpacking trip with at least one dry school evening class. The Trainer Course is a comprehensive class for those serious about these practices, and/or interested in outdoor education as a career. The cost of the course will include a one year membership to LNT Inc, which includes industry discounts, educational materials and more.
