The Route

This is a 4-day, 3-night bike tour involving several ferries. We will leave on Aug 9 and come back on Aug 12 in the evening.

Horseshoe Bay --> Langdale. ferry. ($15)

Langdale --> Earls Cove. bike 80 km

Earls Cove --> Saltery Bay. ferry.($14.50)

Saltery Bay --> Powell River. bike 30 km

Powell River --> Comox. ferry (14.50)

Comox --> Nanaimo --> Victoria --> Swartz Bay. bike 250 km

Swartz Bay --> Tsawassen. ferry ($16.00 + $2.00 bike fee)

Total distance to bike: 360 km (calculated based on road distance -- may differ due to more convenient bike routes) Total ferry costs: $60

Camping spots are to be decided upon and will be listed here along with the ferry times we'll try to make

Gear/Requirements

You should be able to (and want to) ride a bike for the whole day -- we'll do about 90km a day, on average.
