Introduction

The Howe Sound Crest Trail is a 29km high level hiking trail from Cypress Bowl to Porteau Cove on Highway 99. The trail follows the high divide between Howe Sound and the Capilano River, passing by the West Lion, Mount Harvey, Brunswick Mountain, Mount Hannover, Mount Windsor and Deeks Peak, all of which are worthwhile objectives in their own right.

Trail Description

The trail is well marked throughout signposts at most trail junctions. Occaisionally it's necessary to look around a little bit to find the next marker. Trail markers are not placed high, so the trail is difficult to follow when covered by snow.
