COVID Guidelines.

The VOC recommends against the recreational use of our huts this winter due to COVID. Use at your own risk; the VOC does not have the ability to regularly sanitize the huts or contact trace.

If you are headed to the area you should still register in case you end up needing to use our facilities; if you do unpredictably need to use the VOC backcountry facilities we suggest that you:

Follow the provincial health guidelines for socializing indoors

Sanitize your hands every time you enter/leave the hut (we do not provide hand sanitizer) in case you’ve come into contact with COVID on surfaces.

Consider leaving a hut donation (we still need to spend money on upkeep)!
