VOC Exec Meeting Agenda

Exec meetings take place on Tuesdays at 1pm in the clubroom. The meetings are open to interested memebers as well as the exec.

Running avy school last weekend in November was considered, but January was settled on as the snowpack will be better for teaching.
Brian Jones of Canada West Mountain School will supply Matt with a quote.
Matt will put up sign up. Skier/snowboarder/snowshoer, Intermediate/Advanced, Dates avail, Whistler or not (add $26).
Course format: 1 day dryschool, VOC clubroom, room on campus or at CWMS, Day 1 - Seymour, day 2 then Whistler or other, debrief.
Standard CWMS price is around $200 but we get a group discount
Must have money in advance and full groups

From Conor:

Frame: $320 + GST Plexiglass (6'4"x8'4"): $320 + GST Maps: $150 (estimate)

Total: $790 + GST

Donation for "special project" = $550 Balance required: $250 to $300

Treasurer should apply to "AMS Special Projects Fund" for balance (ask at the desk for details), otherwise VOC will need to make up the difference.

We can say something like: "map display in memory of VOC member, previous one damaged in move, have $550 already, asking for $300 ish".

This weeks award for "person most likely to be thrown off the exec" goes to Boris for his dramatic no-show at the trip he organised.
