This page is for items discovered or left behind in and around the VOC huts/events. You will need to create an account to edit this page, but it's free and doesn't take long. Please include the date, a description of the item/location, and contact information (beware of leaving an email address, as a web-crawling spam bot will eventually find it). Also, once the item has been sorted out, please remove it from the list. If you're item is lost and you want more chance of people seeing it, you could also post under the 'current conditions' for the hut where you left it.

  • White Sunglasses left at the brew hut.

Items Found

  • Primus drinking bottle, 0.6L / 20 oz., found in bushes on new trail descending from Brian Waddington hut on October 14, 2007. Call 604 731-4048.
  • 590ml MSR fuel bottle with stove adapter, found @ Phelix (Brian Waddington) Hut on May 27th. Contact Sebastian Oppel 604 314 6605
  • Black(ish) glasses found at Burton Hut April 6, 2007. I think they're Gucci. Contact Evan Morris 604-786-3826
  • A pair of blue down booties, at Brew, around Feb 2006. Actually my son is rather attached to them, but if they are yours, contact Roland at 604 266 8657 and you'll get them back.
  • fleece pants, at Brew, October 2006. contact Eva Wingren.
  • Black MEC sunglasses with MEC type baggie, found (in my pack) most likely from the Brew garbage fly-out, but possibly Sphinx renos or even mountaineering camp. Definately not mine though. Christian 604-628-7495

Intro to Backcountry Skiing, 3-4 Feb 2007

Lots of stuff was left in the van. Matthew 778-996-9594

  • One pair "Head" "World Cup" "Full Metal Jacket" skis with 7tm under-foot tele bindings and a MEC velcro strap (Piotr?).
  • Single Black Diamond glove, black, right hand, unpleasant odour.
  • BC liquor store bag containing various blister treatments, one white bungee, and a very, very black and squishy banana. Yuck.
  • Four dried apricots. I intend to eat them with my oatmeal tomorrow morning. Yum. (Thanks!)
  • Two Nestle "Breakfast" chocolate drink cartons, empty. Please don't leave your trash. Better still, don't buy Nestle.
