Brew Hut rebuild/Tools list
The following is a list of tools we will need for construction. Please add anything you think we will need: it will be difficult to go to the hardware store once we are on site.

Tools Needed for May 21-23 flight and foundation work
- First aid kit
- Carpenter's Hammer(1+)-- Roland (1)
- Heavy Hammer for rock drills (2) -- Roland(1), 1 more needed

- Hoe (for mixing concrete)
- pick -- (1 small one on site already)

- Heavy duty pencils
- Tin snips
- Pliers (for sheet metal work)
- Battery powered skill saw plus lots of batteries or solar charger
- Hacksaw
- Tools for attaching and tightenning anchor cables
- Chainsaw - ? (for trail building and demolishing the old hut into firewood)
- 3/8" rock drill and bolts?
- Staple tacker / staple hammer / stapler
- 50' reel tape
- various tape measures
- tie wire (handy stuff)
- 20" ladders
Other essential items that don't really count as tools:
- Broom
- Cell phone (is there coverage up there) or some other kind of radio for communication between hut site and civilization
- First aid kit

All right... for the building effort I can provide these tools:
Hammer, drill (with two batteries and the bits), a handsaw, water level (meter and a small), square (small), nail puller, plum bob, chalkline, measuring tape, chisel, construction pencil (I assume that's what you mean by heavy duty), might have a hammertacker. As well, I could throw an exacto knife in there too (those always prove to be useful).
However, all these tools are there for only as long as I am. I can't lend them out to people and I am definitely not leaving them at the site up there.
By the by, I have a first-aid kit and know how to use it... but it is of the backpacking variety, so no fancy splints or extra medication in there. If you think we need it, you are welcome to it.
