Archive:Elissa's Birthday Brew Hut Bonanza March 3-4 2007
March 4th is Elissa's birthday. In true VOC spirit, it would be unthinkable to have a birthday on a weekend and not find oneself somewhere lovely. Hopefully Brew Hut will provide just that lovely location next weekend, with warm mulled wine, a warm fire, warm friends, hearty food and hearty song... oh and hopefully more of the "mad pow" [sic] we "shredded" [sic] last weekend. The route in to Brew Hut is reasonably beginner friendly, and all are welcome, but you should have some winter camping skills, have carried an over night pack and have been on backcountry skis before. Snowshoers are also welcome, as long as there are more than one of you so that it doesn't matter if we split into two groups.
Pre-trip Meeting
There will be a brief pre-trip meeting on Thursday 1st March at 6pm in the club room. If you want to commit to the trip, but can't come to the meeting, make a note below and/or let it be known on the message board thread.
