There's plenty to do in the Chilliwack Lake area, about 100km east of Vancouver. I am organizing a hike/scramble to MacDonald and Webb Peaks on Sunday September 29th
MacDonald and Webb (from Bivouac)
Located just west of Chilliwack Lake. From Radium Lake either climb directly towards summit up NW flank, or go to Webb-MacDonald col then up MacDonald's N ridge. Either route provides easy scrambling. The summit is a rock scramble from the MacDonald-Webb col, which is at the end of the Radium Lake trail.
Please come prepare for a hike/easy scramble in rain or sunshine. See the recommended [Gearlist[1]]
Meeting Time & Location: 8am at Tim Horton's at Exit 119A Sardis/Vedder Crossing. [Map [2]]
Driving Directions: Hwy 1 east to Exit 119A Sardis. South onto Vedder Crossing. East onto Luckakuck Way.
Aside: I have a small place up on Chilliwack Mountain that could accomodate a few folks. (then there's always the patio.) If anyone needs to crash here, have pie etc, you're welcome to, but you have to put up with a small dog who really likes visitors.
