Access
Take the Blackcomb turn off and follow the "Singing Pass" signs to a raised causeway. The road is not plowed past here.
Route
Ski up the Olympic Ski run to a small water tower. Follow the road past the tower for about 5km and take the right branch up past an old mine to the trail head. Follow the trail SE into Singing Pass. Climb SE to a minor col west of Russet Lake. The cabin (Himmelsbach Hut) is located at the north end of the lake.
Hazards
- Numerous avalanche gullys intersect the trial. Open meadow slopes are also hazardous.
