Template:Diamond Head driving directions

The Diamond Head parking lot is reached by driving Mamquam road which leaves highway 99 a few kilometers north of dwontown Squamish (there is a Canadian Tire store at the corner). Follow the road past the Squamish Country Club, and through an industrial area. Here the road begins a long climb, passing through the sea to sky university campus. It is 14.5km from highway 99 to the upper parking lot at 950m elevation. In the winter chains and/or 4wd may be required for the last few kilometers. Parking is available lower down, so don't worry if you don't think you'll be able drive the entire road.
