Introduction
Thinking about continuing the reading week skiing momentum? Come and meet our cousin Okanagan club (VOCO) up at the Phelix hut! According to the CBC, on February second Punxsutawney Phil and Wiarton Willie (groundhogs) both predicted six more weeks of winter; that means optimistically great snow! There is a guitar at the hut but we'd like to encourage any other musical additions! Make sure to bring your songbook. Dinner will be potluck style. It might be helpful to put what you're bringing next to your name. Or not. Depends on how adventurous we want to be on the palates. Breakfasts, and lunches are individual so be sure to bring enough energy to keep you going. Space will only be limited by how many people we can fit in the hut.
Please Note: This trip is intermediate/ hardy-beginner friendly.
You should be able to take care of yourself or convince someone to show you the ropes.
AVALANCHE GEAR IS REQUIRED: beacon, shovel, probe
