bridge out
I'm not sure what people are referring to regarding the bridge being out on the Cerise FSR, so I thought I'd put some pics up here for clarity. The clubtread thread linked to in the article indicates shows pictures of the old log, which is indeed unserviceable. However, there is a new bridge only slightly upstream that has been cobbled together with a log, some board, and nailed together with railway spikes. It would be easy to miss the new bridge if you didn't look around a bit at the creek, but I suppose it's possible that at high water the new bridge would be submerged. That said, unless it's truly unsatisfactory, I'm not really in favour of encouraging people to use the newly flagged route through the forest and blazing a whole new trail... -Lommer 11:44, 17 July 2009 (PDT)
