Synopsis

The goal is to scramble the to the peak of Mount MacDonald in Chilliwack in one day. MacDonald is listed in Matt Gunn's Scrambles as a moderate scramble so a helmet is required. The trailhead is only about 2 hours drive from Vancouver and is accessible by 2WD vehicles.

Skills Required

This trip is open to anyone who can hike 1700m elevation gain in a day. If you're not sure if this trip is appropriate for you, please email me.

Trip Meeting

There will be a trip meeting in the week before the trip in the clubroom to sort out rides (time and date TBA). If you can't come to the meeting, let me know or make your own arrangements.

Driving Directions

Gear Required

Clothing for a day hike (no cotton), a helmet, and good hiking boots.
