Synopsis
Vicky and Breanne are organizing an intermediate trip to the Brian Waddington Hut to ski, snow levels permitting, for a make-shift long weekend. Both the ski access and the yo-yo difficulty are both rated difficult, thus the intermediate classification of the trip. There will be no instruction and you're expected to have some avalanche training or pair up with someone who does. If willing to suffer a bit, beginners are also welcome to come. We will help you make it there and back. It is recommended that you have some sort of previous experience on some sort of ski.
Failing appropriate snow levels we will still be going as a hiking trip. It will be determined at the pre-trip meeting if we'll be hiking or skiing.
We will have a dessert potluck to celebrate the "long" weekend Friday night. Bring something delicious to share!
Date
The trip meeting is Tuesday November 9th, 6:00pm, in the clubroom. People can sort into food and ride groups if they haven't already.
The trip is November 11th - 14th, 2010
All drivers should have all passengers installed and be driving over the Lions Gate Bridge at 5:30am. It is the passengers responsibility to contact the drivers. Driving directions can be found at the above link to Brian Waddington Hut.

Nick M - Snow dependent. Five seats total. Planning on leaving Thursday morning from Richmond but could do Friday, returning Sunday eve. If you are also snow dependent then this is the ride for you.
